My favorite Italian bakery & deli! Sandwiches: my partner got the Italian sandwich and found it very filling and delicious, he said it was one of the best sandwiches he's had. I ordered the tuna salad and was very happy with the flavor. As some reviews said it is a little chunky with the hard boiled eggs but I didn't mind. 5/5 Desserts: the cannolis here are delicious, I love the pistachio they put on the ends 5/5. Chocolate chip cookies are good but not my favorite 4/5 and the carrot cake is really good as well 5/5. Parking: it can get a little crazy over here but worst case you may need to walk a block or two.

I have rediscovered this delightful establishment. I decided to try their homemade meat sauce. It was delicious (though we did enhance it with sage sausage, mini peppers, and more onion and celery)! I am hooked. I will gladly pay the extra cost rather than using store bought jar sauce. The pasta they carry is also great. I loved the extra long spaghetti and linguine, but I recommend the bucatini - as it was recommended to me by one of the helpful guys there (sorry I didn't get a name). I met Vito, one of the owners, a congenial and welcoming man. Will continue to come here for deli meats, pasta and sauce, shredded mozzarella, and delicious pastries!!

I've been coming here since I was a kid in the early 80's. The bread is excellent - light and fluffy inside, crispy crust. Sandwiches made to order are delicious. The cookies and pastries are also fantastic. Be sure to pull a number from the dispenser to the left of the door as you enter.

A dangerous place if you're dieting! Fortunately I came on my cheat day and timed it so I could stop here AND the nearby Casa Bianca Pizza. Got a variety of cookies and biscotti from my friendly, welcoming server. Was nervous when I didn't see any cannoli on display, but they made one for me on the spot. Everything was fresh and high-quality. How does one say YUM in Italian? DELIZIOSA!!!

I love this place. Yesterday I order 4 large Italian combo sandwich because the minimum is 4 sandwich if you place a telephone order. This place will not disappoint. I wished I ordered another sandwich so I can enjoy one today. It's the best bread, cheese, meat cuts, dressing...let's be real it's all the sandwich that makes it amazing. I drove in traffic for close to 2 hours to pick up the sandwich. I actually arrived 2 mins after closing and they allowed me to pick up. Great customer service. Ok let me tell you about their desserts. The black and white cookie is the best you will taste!! The napoleon is soo good and the chocolate and nougat candies you can purchase is great! The frozen marinara sauce and frozen raviolis are yummy!! Everything in this place is so good. Come and see what I'm talking about.

Stopped into Eagle Rock's Italian bakery and deli for some lunch, second time this week! Had their delicious chicken salad the other day and today a honey baked ham and a Delicious Roast Turkey sandwich with some macaroni salad. The place was hopping and everyone behind the counter was working at full speed with smiles. The place is always spotless and their well stocked bakery showcases are a fine way to pass the time, while waiting for your sandwiches. I was happy to choose a couple of freshly made cannolis to accompany our lunch, their excellent cannolis are as good if not better than those in NY. If you haven't been, you owe it to yourself to check it out, they have a wide assortment of imported Italian pastas, canned goods, cheeses, sausages, in store baked breads and their own frozen excellent Marinara sauce. I can't list all they carry, so see for yourself, also check out their website for info on all their offerings.

I discovered these cookies at my Italian friend's wedding and instantly became a fan. We visited during Easter weekend and were shocked to see long lines in the rain. Locals were grabbing numbers as they entered and proceeding to order 6-8 dozen cookies each! We received friendly recommendations and especially enjoyed the pistachio cookies. The pistachio cannoli's, tiramisu, and white chocolate cereal cluster like things were also delicious. There are no signs indicating what each item is so we missed out on trying the bread or sandwiches, but we'll definitely try those next time. The shop seems to have manyyy repeat customers and small charming touches like the Italian paper on the counter for anyone. Can't wait for my next visit!

Best Italian sandwiches Eva! Fugghedaboutit! Been coming here for years. I always get my favorite sandwich - large capacollla, extra mayo, hold the mustard. Maddon! Bread is crisp and fresh and the deli is full of meats. Lots of imported stuff from Italy to choose from, from perishables to non perishables. Lots of snacks, too. Italians love their nibbles. The bakery is especially good for their eclaires and canollis. Lots to choose from: cookies, custards, biscotti, you name it. Gets crowded at times, especially during lunch, but just go and grab a number and wait. Oh, and parking kinda sucks, since it's a high traffic area on Colorado in the middle of Silver Rock. I mean Eagle Rock. Maddon! FYI, for the big Sons of Anarchy fans, a lot of scenes from the last season were shot inside the bakery. Go see for yourself! Fugghedaboutit!

There are many sandwiches in Los Angeles, some would say....too many sandwiches, so why should you get a sandwich from Eagle Rock Italian Bakery & Deli? Because it's the best sandwich. I don't think I have had a sandwich this good here before (I'm even saying that yes, it's better than Bay Cities, controversial? Maybe? But it's like, my opinion). Anyways. I got the spicy calabrese sandwich with the works on it and it's just like a harmony of texture and flavors. The meat is incredibly thin and flavorful, and the toppings just compliment it really nicely. Add a crunchy bread and man you've got it made. I might actually get a sandwich today now because writing this review is making me hungry all over again.
